Job ID:110984 The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services. Job Summary At Leonardo DRS we pride ourselves on our culture! As such our Melbourne, FL location is seeking a fulltime Summer EE intern that will find themselves working closely with, learn from, and assist seasoned Electrical Engineers in our Land Electronics (LE) line of business. You will be involved in processes from start to finish with opportunities for exploration. Job Responsibilities Under the guidance of a senior engineer, you will be required to design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of electronic products, systems and subsystems Use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software to accomplish assignments Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems and services Produce schematics, circuits analysis documentation and trade studies Assist in the development of plant layouts, manufacturing methods and process improvements Release bill of materials and documentation into configuration management systems Actively participate in peer and project milestone reviews Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization Job Responsibilities Part II Qualifications Must be actively enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate or Masters Program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering Enrolled as either a Junior or Senior with at least a 3.0 or higher GPA Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to solve problems using your natural curiosity Work effectively as a member of a team or individual tasks Ability to read technical drawings and work in a manufacturing environment a plus Taking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
