Position Description
As a Director of Product Management your role will be to define and execute the product vision, identify market opportunities and drive the development and launch of innovative electric solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will have the opportunity to help us change the market and the world to help people get more work done.
You will do this by:
Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the electrification business, aligned with the company's overall strategic objectives.
Conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify unmet needs and emerging trends. Defining product requirements and specifications for new and existing products. Prioritizing product development initiatives based on market potential, customer needs, and business objectives.
Product Development and Launch:
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute the product roadmap and deliver innovative electric solutions on time and within budget.
Collaborating with engineering, design, purchasing, manufacturing, and marketing teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Overseeing product testing, validation, and certification processes. Developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Monitoring the performance of existing products and identifying opportunities for improvement or enhancement.
Managing product lifecycles, including product introductions, updates, and end-of-life planning. Analyzing product sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions. Prioritizing new and existing projects and resources to support
Customer and Market Focus:
- Developing a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics in the electrification space.
Building and maintaining relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders. Representing the voice of the customer in product development decisions. Staying informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Identifying and leading evaluation of new business opportunities including new product categories, markets, regions, channels and/or acquisitions
Team Leadership and Development:
- Building, managing, and mentoring a high-performing product management team.
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
- Providing guidance and support to team members in their professional development.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent education and experience
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of ten years product management experience
