About the Role

As a Laboratory Prep Technician, you will play a key role in preparing samples for analysis and ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory. This position is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare samples and reagents using various prep procedures, ensuring samples meet required hold times.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in chain-of-custody documentation to maintain sample integrity.
  • Follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) accurately.
  • Communicate with technical departments regarding sample status.
  • Store and discard vials in designated storage areas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth lab operations.
  • Assist with special projects and conduct all activities safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Must Have:



  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related scientific field.
  • At least two years of lab experience.
