PAYMENT PROCESSOR





SUMMARY:

This position supports the vendor payment services lead in creating on line payments for bills that have been funded.




PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:




  1. Research and resolve payments for payment requests.
  2. Perform research of payments via the bank website.
  3. Responsible for researching vendors to see if they are p-card, EFT or Check capable.

    • Maintain comprehensive list of research and websites.
    • Set all the available accounts to p-card manual for that utility as needed.


  4. Initiate and complete all eligible p-card manual accounts in the database weekly.
  5. Evaluate and resolve all payment issues via e-mail.
  6. Work closely with other departments.

    The pay range for this role is: $13.22 -22.36 hourly

    Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional ENGIE benefits include a 401k plan, paid time off and annual bonus. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.









QUALIFICATIONS



Education/Certification/

Knowledge





  • Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Extensive knowledge of AviTrack required.



Experience:





  • Experience with Account Management required.



Skills/Abilities:





  • Ability to work proactively with banking, client, team, and utility contacts.
  • Independent work style and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal communication.



WORK ENVIRONMENT




  • Typical office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Performing duties and attending events during the evening and on the weekend occurs occasionally and may be required.
  • Traveling off-site to a local event occurs rarely and may be required.
  • Incumbent may be exposed to frequent noise caused by telephones, office machines, and nearby oral communications among fellow employee.




REQUIRED PHYSICAL ABILITIES




  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, move from one area of the building to another on a regular basis, sit and use a computer for a long period of time.
  • Manual and physical dexterity needed to operate a computer keyboard and handle paper documents.
  • Sufficient near vision acuity to read information appearing on computer display screen, in handwritten forms, and printed on paper.
  • Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
  • Ability to lift and carry a stack of forms and documents weighing up to 15 pounds.
