How you will help us create value together:

As an IT Intern, you will work closely with our experienced IT professionals on various projects and initiatives. This internship is designed to provide valuable exposure to different facets of IT, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world scenarios. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and eager individual with technical acumen to jumpstart their career in the ever-evolving field of information technology.

This position will be based onsite at our South Harbor location in Milwaukee's Harbor District! The target start date for this role is Summer 2025 and has potential to be extended into the Fall school semester. We offer full-time hours during the summer and flexible part-time hours during the academic year.

This position is not eligible for remote work now or in the future. Temporary relocation to the Milwaukee-area is not available.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in activities related to solution design, application development, testing, and deployment.
  • Participate in IT projects, including system migrations, upgrades, and new implementations under the guidance of senior IT staff.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on various IT tools and applications.
  • Assist in the documentation of IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and recommendation of new technologies to enhance IT capabilities by developing proof of concepts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT-related challenges and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop, implement, and maintain IT policies and procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program with a focus on Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong passion for IT and eagerness to learn and apply new skills.
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts, hardware, and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C#, Java etc.,
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
