Safety/Environmental Intern

We're looking for a Safety and Environmental Intern to join our American Ordnance team located in Middletown, IA. You will get to work under the supervision of an experienced employee. Continuously improve processes and systems under their control and to meet customer needs, both internal and external. The internship tasks will be focused in the area in line with your education and ability.

• Assists with preparation of Hazard Analysis.
• Conducts IH sampling of explosive operation sand hearing map studies.
• Participates in incident investigations in Environmental and Safety areas.

• Basic knowledge of environmental and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of environmental and safety practices and procedures.

• Enrolled in College or University pursuing degree in Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Health and Safety.
• Great attitude and team player.
• Successful completion of background screening process.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $22.00 - $ 24.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
