Meijer is coming to Independence Twp Market in Clarkston, MI Spring 2025! If you're passionate about making a positive impact on the community and delivering an exceptional customer experience, we'd love for you to join the Meijer Family as a Full-Time Inventory Lead.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Current/Past Experience in Receiving, Warehouse, Logistics, Retail, Fulfillment Center a plus

As the Inventory Lead, you will be responsible for the merchandising, assortment, pricing, and inventory performance of Market Format. You will work in conjunction with team leads and assistant managers to insure shelf conditions and shopping experience are in line with expectations.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Work with Store Team and Corporate Market Format Team on the following
  • Lead all aspects of assortment, new items, resets and planogram changes
  • Set up and authorize local and DSD vendors

    Coordinates Holiday and Seasonal planning with Store and Market Format teams

  • Conducts inventory analysis on hole counts and investigates/solve stock overages and out of stocks.
  • Coordinates Rush Orders
  • Ultimately responsible on BOH accuracy. Works with store team to insure accuracy.
  • Responsible for managing prices changes and batches

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of retail experience at corporate to store level preferred. Corporate merchandising, category management or space planning or Operational experience in decentralized model where stores have responsibility for assortment and pricing.
  • Project Management Skills. Responsible to coordinate multiple vendors and store department teams to plan and executed planogram transitions and resets
  • Attention to Detail & Timeline Management
  • Ability to gather and interpret data for various reports, as appropriate. Corporate BI Reporting, Excel and Micro strategy
  • Knowledge of the retail industry - ability to analyze and understand specific category product lines as well as segmented customer behavior.
  • Results focused; uses performance targets and goals to drive own activities as well as help team succeed.
  • Ability to drive positive change within the team.
  • Office computer skills; ability to learn company systems and tools.
