Location: Mt. Sterling, IL
Department: Accounts Receivable/Credit
Reports To: A/R Manager
Salary: $46,667 - $70,000 annually, plus bonus opportunity

As an Accounts Receivable Customer Analyst, you will be responsible for research and resolution of partner (customer or supplier) behavior and payment variances.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Provide analytical expertise in managing partner portfolios to develop work processes that enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Initiate communication (current and proactive) with appropriate process partners to correct root causes, prevent re-occurrence and streamline processes
  • Contact and work with partner and partner teams, across different levels and layers, to secure resolution of claims and solve root cause of problems
  • Collaborate with partners to analyze current processes and establish mutually beneficial improvements
  • Develop and leverage internal and external relationships to improve business processes
  • Assists in training new employees on AR Processes
  • Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.


YOU MUST HAVE



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or another business-related field
  • Proficient communication skills - written and verbal
  • Exceptional analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization and follow up skills


YOU MAY ALSO HAVE



  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Thorough understanding of general bookkeeping or accounting information
  • Excellent Excel skills, including a good working knowledge of V-Lookup and Pivot Table functions


ROLE SPECIFICS



  • Occasional overnight travel required. Must have ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train for customer/vendor calls, training, or meetings.
