EnSafe is accepting applications for an Environmental Remediation Project Engineer to join our team. We are open to looking at candidates in the Asheville, North Carolina, and/or Greenville, South Carolina areas.

What We Are Looking For:

An experienced Environmental Remediation Project Engineer ready to support and manage a design team using a wide range of remedial technologies to address various contaminants in soil, groundwater, stormwater, and air. The right candidate has experience with remediation under multi-state, CERCLA, and RCRA regulations. What You Will Be Doing:

  • Leading and supporting remedial and process engineering projects as well as teams to fill data gaps, design, construct, operate, and optimize systems.
  • Evaluating data from aquifer tests, pilot studies, bench testing, sampling events, and modeling to develop remedial strategies
  • Preparing, reviewing, and mentoring others in development of design basis, technology selection, and design plans, specifications, and reports
  • Communicating with regulatory personnel and permitting agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations
  • Providing project and client management from small dry cleaners/gas stations to complex industrial facilities to major federal facilities
  • Preparing proposals, cost estimates, and long-term projections for remediation projects
  • Providing technical assistance to teams working across multiple offices throughout the country, problem-solving, mentoring, leading by example, and participating in corporate technical initiatives

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited college in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience required.
  • P.E. required.
  • Firsthand experience with remediation technologies and equipment O&M for contamination in soil, groundwater, stormwater, and air
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel overnight.
