Job Description:

The Senior L&D Manager of Leadership Development will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of leadership development initiatives, strategies, and roadmaps. This role will focus on enhancing the leadership capabilities of our employees at all levels, ensuring alignment with overall Learning & Development strategy and organizational goals and values.

To be successful in this role:

  • Execute the leadership pipeline vision and strategy of Leading Self, Leading Others and Leading Leaders. Oversee the development and facilitation of related and supplemental programs.

  • Partner with subject matter experts, business operation leaders, and HR Business Partners to assess needs and design, develop and deliver content in a variety of modalities.

  • Effectively present information, findings, and recommendations to various stakeholders, including senior management and team members.

  • Facilitate and/or co-facilitate existing programs either virtually, in-room or on jobsites.

  • Apply instructional design skills to create solutions for ad hoc projects and complimentary leadership and professional development programs.

  • Research learning industry trends, methodologies, and best practices and integrate those into professional application.

  • Assist in the strategic planning of the L&D function as we grow and expand, collaborating closely with all team members to support broader L&D goals and initiatives.

  • Manage the growth and performance of current and future leadership development team members.

  • Evaluate current curriculums and programs and determine ways to increase the effectiveness of all established professional development training efforts, including scaling programs.

  • Infuse Ryan values, competencies, and philosophies throughout all professional development initiatives.

  • Own program communications to increase awareness, inspire engagement, and promote job growth and personal development at all levels.

  • Measure program effectiveness and adapt to improve satisfaction, knowledge transfer, behavior change and business results.

You will really stand out if you can successfully perform the following:

  • Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, presentation and facilitation) and confidence communicating and working with all levels in the organization from senior leaders to individual contributors.

  • Proven project management experience with strong prioritization, planning, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • 6-10 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development roles, with an emphasis on leadership development, preferably within the Construction/Real Estate industry.

  • Track record of cross-functional collaboration and strong emotional intelligence and relationship building skills.

  • Past supervisory/people management experience, preferred.

  • Certifications in Training and Development and working knowledge of LMS systems, preferred.

  • Working knowledge of DiSC and the DiSC suite of tools, preferred.

  • Ability to travel 25% of time, required.

Compensation:

The base pay range is $135,700-$203,500/Annually. The salary may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
