Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Regional Project Superintendent to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing a portfolio of projects within the Convergint Project Management Office. This includes planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget and according to specified requirements. Your strong project supervision and project execution skills, leadership abilities, and mindfulness will contribute to the successful completion of projects, profitability, and in alignment with organizational and customer goals.   • Assign work and monitor performance of a team of technical direct reports that will support projects across the U.S.
  • Support the overall strategy, execution of deliverables, project completion & profitable outcomes for significantly complex projects and / or multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Develop a Work Breakdown Structure for the assigned project(s) with properly named work packages & resources assigned to the appropriate tasks to establish a baseline resource plan.
  • Interpret and explain plans, contract terms and project scope to project team members, subcontractors, customers and affected other trades.
  • Coordinate with general construction and other trade personnel to ensure work performed by others is clearly understood and completed in a timely manner.
  • Interface with engineering team on shop drawings to ensure accuracy of design, functionality, constructability, and adherence to project requirements.
  • Read, interpret, and understand blueprints, schematics, statements of work (SOW), bid and contract documents.
  • Ensure proper testing of bill of materials, custom applications of products, and software integrations for adherence to project requirements prior to installation at the jobsite.
  • Plan mobilization, coordination, material location and storage to enhance project productivity.
  • Identify and direct project team members to obtain permits, badges, and access requests in advance.
  • Lead project teams in executing project plans effectively and efficiently. Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards, and manage any changes or deviations that may arise. Maintain open lines of communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Resolve issues that are preventing the project work from executing efficiently.
  • Establish strong working relationships with project stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and external vendors or contractors. Identify stakeholders' needs, expectations, and concerns. Communicate project updates, risks, and issues promptly and effectively. Ensure customer satisfaction and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and allocate resources required for project execution, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Work closely with department heads and resource managers to ensure the availability and optimal utilization of resources. Monitor resource allocation and adjust, as necessary.
  • Assist in development and management of project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and control. Monitor project expenses, track budget variances, and implement corrective actions when needed. Ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints while maintaining quality and meeting client requirements.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact. Proactively monitor and address potential risks throughout the project lifecycle. Implement risk management processes, including risk identification, assessment, and contingency planning.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards. Conduct regular quality reviews, perform inspections, and verify compliance with project specifications and industry best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, progress updates, and key performance indicators to stakeholders and senior management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, daily reports, productivity, and risk management reports.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. Provide training, guidance, support, and mentorship to team members. Foster a positive work environment that encourages creativity, accountability, and professional growth.



What You'll Need



  • Proven experience as a Project Leader, Project Manager, or similar role, preferably within security integration or adjacent industries.
  • Strong project leadership skills, including project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: Minimum 10 years of managing projects $1M+

Preferred Experience (but not required:



  • Knowledge and certification in access control and / or video management systems.
  • Knowledge of basic network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of the installation of conduit, fiber optics and telecom.
