The Opportunity

Michelin has an immediate opening for a Human Resources (HR) Business Partner at our North American (NA) Headquarters facility who will build positive relationships with internal business partners, employees, and managers, diagnose and develop our talent and human resource needs based on business requirements. You will be primarily responsible for serving the Information Technology team(s) located throughout the NA region. Our digital transformation is rapidly progressing, and we need you to help support our Teams along that path. Furthermore, the position will be part of an accelerated development program with a goal of positioning the new leader to rapidly gain experience and grow quickly within the organization. We are expecting this new passionate leader to gain experience and rapidly promote into higher level HR roles within the company to include regional HR partners, region Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and beyond. Therefore, we need this person to be relocatable to most of our US locations. You may also have the opportunity to take part in a global for professional development within Group Michelin.

In your first assignment you will join our Team at the Michelin North America headquarters in Greenville, SC, conveniently located within driving distance to east coast beaches, the Blue Ridge Mountains and large cities like Atlanta and Charlotte. The mild climate, charming downtown, and impressive culinary scene are just a few of the perks of living here.

What will you do

*Support/Coach managers on all HR processes contributing to their team and team members' development and to improve their managerial skills.

*Support/Guide employees on their professional career path and/or competency development including international mobility and assignments.

*Support workforce planning, talent pools, and succession plans to ensure critical jobs and positions are staffed on time.

*Ensure HR policies are respected, as well as external & internal rules/regulations are in compliance while maintaining trust, confidence, and fairness in initial and recourse process.

*Participate in the development, the integration and the execution of our human resource strategy and ensuring the alignment to the overarching business strategy.

What will you bring

*5+ years overall experience in one or more of the HR functions (recruiting, compensation, benefits, payroll, etc.) or as a manager with direct reports.

*3+ years of experience in one or more of the HR functions directly supporting Information Technology professionals.

*Undergraduate college degree required. A Master's degree in business is a plus

*Professional HR (PHR) or Senior Professional HR (SPHR) Certification is a plus

*Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes in a cooperative manner with others.

*Effective interpersonal skills to show appreciation, use empathy to understand, resolve disputes professionally, and to practice active listening skills.

*Proven experience and ability to strengthen company culture, employee experience and engagement

*Commitment to remaining geographically mobile, to include potential international assignments withing Group Michelin

*Limited working proficiency in French is a plus.
