Responsible for supporting the Corporate Director of Manufacturing and Vice President with project management for the transfer of production from RW GmbH to RWMIC. Manages these and other Projects for RWMIC, working cross departmentally and also collaboratively with RW GmbH departments of R&D, Engineering and PMO.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for transferring production of parts, sub-assemblies and finished goods from RW GmbH to local manufacture at RWMIC using standardized and accepted PMO methodologies and systems.
  • Comprehensively prepares and monitors projects with special emphasis on technical details, standards/norms, regulatory requirements (including validations), risk analysis/mitigation, and thorough cost analysis. Works closely with RA/QA/QC departments to achieve successful transfer. Completes authoritative control over coordination of projects.
  • Successfully identifies and then leverages RWMIC team members needed for project completion.
  • Fully responsible for compliance with processes and quality criteria.
  • Identifies, clearly communicates, and resolves product-related questions regarding current and new products to the designated persons at RW GmbH or at RWMIC. Responsible for proper follow-up, obtaining responses and initiating action items.
  • Project Management lead responsible for guiding a team of skilled professionals from project beginning to successful completion.
  • Promotes excellent communication between team members (especially across departments) to ensure a transparent and clear flow of information.
  • Regular presentation of projects with KPI's, status updates, Gantt Charts and other PMO tools to Management Team and colleagues.
  • Develops solutions for projects through systemic and accepted methodologies.
  • Determination, assessment, and abatement of project risks.
  • Leverages organizational awareness to align project goals with company objectives, navigating internal structures and processes to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develops and monitors project budgets, ensuring financial accountability while balancing project needs, resource allocation, and cost-effective solutions.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engages and manages stakeholders by building strong relationships, facilitating clear communication, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Aware of and complies with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type/position.
  • Completes all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Corporate Director of Manufacturing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree in a related area of study.
  • Demonstrated success in Project Management.
  • Ability to work independently with confidence, care, and a sense of urgency.
  • Outstanding project management skills, PMP certification required.
  • Excellent proactive communicator across all levels of an organization.
  • Detail oriented, with strong administrative and organizational skills and a thorough understanding of time management concepts
  • English proficiency. Bilingual German a plus.
  • Advanced PC skills in all major MS Office suite products and PMO software with an ability to become familiar with specific programs and software (e.g. SAP ERP software).
  • Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.
