Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Sr. Auditor II

Join MSK's Internal Audit Team! Lead critical audits, assess risks, and ensure compliance in the fast-paced healthcare industry. Collaborate with top leaders, drive process improvements, and shape organizational success. Role Overview

    Contribute to MSK's Internal Audit Team by ensuring accuracy and compliance of financial records, operational processes, and regulatory requirements .
  • Collaborate with Audit Managers to oversee complex financial and operational audits, including risk and control assessments, execution, and reporting to leadership.
  • Support the development of audit plans, perform independent reviews, and evaluate organizational processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating key risks across the organization.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve processes, enhance controls, and reduce operational risks.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by offering expertise on audit and risk management practices.
  • Participate in ongoing risk assessments to refine audit strategies and maintain alignment with organizational goals.

Key Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing multiple audit assignments and working independently with clients.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify risks, and assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Proficiency in developing process narratives, flow diagrams, and executing detailed audit procedures.
  • Familiarity with professional standards from IIA, ISACA, and other relevant bodies.

Core Skills

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate trends, anomalies, and risks.
  • Proficient in documenting audit workpapers and maintaining compliance with professional standards.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for stakeholder engagement and effective reporting.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend corrective actions.
  • Organizational skills to manage tasks, prioritize audits, and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and industry-specific education.

Additional Information:

  • Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday
  • Location: Hybrid, 3-4x a Month at 633 in NYC
  • Reporting to: Senior Manager, Business Audit
  • Pay Range: $88,800.00-$142,200.00
