Job Summary: Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments. Verifying cash entries and posting cash transactions. Audit all receipts on a determined schedule to ensure accuracy in accounting. Job Responsibilities: * Posts customer payments by recording cash, check, and credit card transactions * Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from customers and collection department; reconcile any irregularities in receipts. * Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries. * Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts. * Prepare and send invoices to customers. * Work on special project as needed for Account Receivable * Other duties as assigned. Job Requirement: * Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Administrator * Solid understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations * Intermediate-level experience using productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite * High degree of accuracy and attention to detail * A desire and ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish daily goals. * Proven ability to calculate, post account receivable data. * Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software * Effective communication skills Education and Experience: * High School Diploma required; Accounting certificate or AA degree preferred * 4-6 years related experience What We Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. * A collaborative and innovative work environment. * The chance to work on groundbreaking projects that shape the future of space and defense.
