The Head of Community Marketing serves as the voice of Moultrie to our customers across various platforms. This role is customer obsessed and has complete oversight of Moultrie's Community Marketing group including Social Media, Content, Ambassadors, Field Team, Events, and PR.

This position works cross-functionally with brand, digital, go-to-market, product management, creative teams, and sales to align messaging to all consumers in both digital and in-person activations.

Responsibilities:

  • Content: Ownership of the content collection for the brand. In partnership with Sr. Brand Manager and Community Manager, you will be working with freelance talent and agencies to create best in class photo and video.
  • Social Media: Oversight of Social Media team to create the most engaged social channels across numerous platforms.
  • Budget: Management of all community-based budget objectives.
  • Ambassadors: Oversight and Ownership of the Ambassador strategy. Working with key partners to bring our products and brand to our customers fingertips.
  • Field Team: Oversight of the Field team program and initiatives.
  • Events: Partner with our Events Manager to bring our brand to life at in-person events across trade shows, consumer shows, and brand owned events.
  • PR & Affiliate: Establish the PR and Affiliate strategy for Moultrie. In partnership with the community team, keep Moultrie top of mind for all media and consumers.
  • Development: Develop direct reports, understanding their personal growth goals and encouraging growth opportunities. Serving as a player/coach to team members and taking an interest in their development.
  • Product Launches: Plan and execute the Community marketing efforts for all product and app launches across Moultrie Platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of marketing experience with consumer products in the outdoors category.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, developing talent and growth paths for internal team members.
  • 3+ years of budget management experience. Setting a comprehensive budget and tracking to targets.
  • Strong skills across Community Marketing activities including: Social media, content, ambassadors/partnerships, pro staff/field teams, and PR/Affiliate marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with content creators and hunters
  • In-depth understanding of the dynamics of social media platforms including, META, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with experience meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in hunting and/or outdoor products
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools such as Asana.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with social media platforms.
  • Content creation capabilities
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience creating visually compelling materials using PowerPoint or similar tools.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and adapt in fast-changing environments.
