The Team Lead is responsible for supervising a team, ensuring the efficient and high quality production of products. This includes monitoring work progress, training employees, and communicating production goals and procedure changes. We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of the assembly process and prior experience in a Team Lead role. In addition, Team Lead II's must have high attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively, skill in critical thinking and problem-solving, and a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead safety toolbox talks, participate in monthly plant safety meetings, & 6S Kaizen events.
• Perform in process layered audits to ensure procedures are being followed and documentation is being completed thoroughly.
• Maintain LDM boards with correct data, owners, and actions.
• Team performs correct transactions and hour by hour boards filled out properly.
• Review and execute work-center schedules for on-time delivery.
• Assign daily tasks & duties to operators.
• Inventory control all components counted for scrap, excess, etc.
• FIFO and Wip lanes maintain.
• Participate & Lead kaizens to eliminate waste and to increase productivity.
• Work with training coordinator to develop team members.

EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

• At least 1-3 years of experience as a Team Lead.
