Position Summary The Service Contract Specialist is responsible for service contract administration with a focus on increasing service contract revenue, contract renewal rate, and overall contract capture rate. The Service Contract Specialist will support our internal sales team in contract sales opportunities through assisting in quotations and contract reviews. The Specialist are responsible for contract setup, execution, and billing in our internal systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Facilitates the preparation, negotiation and execution of contractual agreements with equipment manufacturers and 3rd party service providers. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers with a focus on increasing service contract revenue, contract renewal rate and overall contract capture rate. Cultivate and maintain working relationships with sales staff and sales management, customers, service management team and internal stakeholders. Utilize multiple systems to properly set up customer contracts accordingly to contract parameters. Support internal sales team and external reseller networ1< in contract sales opportunities through assisting in quotations, contract reviews and contract execution. Maximize service contract revenue opportunities by understanding customer equipment and potential upselling opportunities. Execute a process to manage contract renewals effectively and efficiently. Work independently to manage renewals with the customer or with the assistance of the Territory Managers or resellers. Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and policies by which the team operates, ensuring conformance with departmental strategy. Recommend opportunities for process improvement and/ or efficiencies in the overall service contract management process and within the systems utilized. Assist in service contract billing and credits. Work to improve and simplify overall billing processes. Assist in compilation of departmental metrics with a focus on revenue, capture rate and renewal rate. Perform any other tasks or projects as assigned by manager. Under the direction of service leadership, develop and maintain standardized service contract templates for use in drafting new contracts for customers. Assist in developing process improvement measures for vendor agreements Support customers and end users regarding contract/SLA issues throughout equipment & agreement lifecycle. Working in conjunction with Service Leadership & Sales Administration, assist in the assessment, acquisition, or deployment of new electronic document management systems. Job Requirements Educational/Training Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/Preferred AD or Bachelors (or equiv. exp.) Paralegal Studies or Bus Admin 5 yrs. minimum exp. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Keen attention to detail and high accuracy level. Ability to deliver required results with high levels of customer satisfaction. Proven ability in developing and maintaining effective internal and external working relationships. Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of management internal and external. Ability to manage multiple projects/clients simultaneously. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, demands, and timelines.
