As a Data Analytics Product Manager, you will sit within our revolutionary Data Catalyst team, where we work together on challenging products that widely impact all areas of the energy industry. In this challenging environment, you will work as part of a team to aid the creation and activation of the roadmap that will lead to our vision of becoming an insight-driven organization in the future.
How You will Make an Impact
- Create and activate a roadmap towards becoming an insight-driven organization.
- Conduct research and analyzing customer needs to identify opportunities for new products and features.
- Sets product visions and strategies for the data products and solutions by gaining a thorough understanding of internal customer needs.
- Drive growth, identify goals and metrics, provide guidance on design, and support successful delivery of product management practices.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and data teams, stay up to date with industry trends, and monitor product performance.
- Resolves issues within or across product teams that may impair teams from delivery of a quality product to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
What you bring:
- Advanced Degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
- You should have at least 5 years of experience as a product manager, deep domain expertise, knowledge of databases and SQL, and fluency in English.
- Proficient in data analysis, with the ability to extract insights from large datasets using tools like SQL, Python, and R.
- Strong technical background, with knowledge of databases, APIs and cloud computing platforms like AWS.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Internal customer-focused, with a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those needs into product features and enhancements.
- Product Planning skills: possess agile product planning & execution skills and tools. Examples: JIRA, road mapping, business case development and budgeting.
