About the Role:We are looking for a Global Sustainability Audit Coordinator to join our Fabrics team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing sustainability audit processes across the three regions and multiple manufacturing facilities. The commitment takes responsibility for driving the process to set and align goals with leadership and works together with leadership to align resources to drive continuous improvement against goals. This commitment ensures a common approach to external auditing and provides training and support to local audit teams to ensure they understand audit processes, standards, and tools, and can conduct the audits with efficiency.

This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Pay and Benefits:

• $94,000.00 - $124,000.00per year

Responsibilities:

• Recognize sustainability-related challenges within Gore's manufacturing facilities, develop audit related goals and KPIs, ensure progress against our KPIs, share best practice, drive robust/holistic corrective action and improvement management.Hold leadership teams accountable for agreed actions and KPIs
• Co-ordinate, prepare for, and support the execution of our sustainability focused audits across all Fabrics manufacturing facilities in US, Germany, and China
• Be the SME for audit tool execution in GORE manufacturing facilities and partner with a global network of Fabrics Associates (Supply Chain, Sustainability, EH&S, Facility Services, HR) to create the necessary teams and commitment for successful audit execution and educate on what is needed
• Ensure auditing consistency across Fabrics manufacturing facilities for all sustainability audits covering social compliance, environmental impact, chemical management, and circularity
• Lead the data gathering processes to report on KPIs and metrics related to sustainability audits globally
• Drive ownership and integration of sustainability criteria, tools and processes into the manufacturing organization, e.g., Higg Facility Module verification, including education on Higg performance targets and goals across chemical, social and environmental compliance topics
• Partner with relevant Gore Associates to integrate sustainability standards into our ISO management system and engage with local plant leadership, HR and environmental management teams
• Manage key relationships with external service providers and auditing companies
• Support customer queries and surveys in relation to our sustainability auditing standards, our sustainability performance and supply chain data requests related to facility sustainability audits
• Participate through industry cooperation in the further development of global facility related auditing tools providing feedback to Sustainability Team (e.g., Higg Facility tools)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as, Environmental Science, Sustainability, CSR / ESG, Supply Chain Management (with a focus on sustainable practices)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in sustainability auditing, environmental auditing, social compliance auditing or corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs
• Familiarity with international sustainability standards and regulations, and a working knowledge of textiles/apparel certification schemes, such as Bluesign, Oeko-Tex, Global Recycled Standard and Higg FSLM and FEM
• Exceptional project management experience including the ability to establish the necessary teams and coordinate across different departments and geographical locations
• Proven capability to evaluate sustainability-related challenges, develop strategies, establish KPIs and drive holistic continuous improvement plans
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Ability to analyze sustainability data, prepare audit reports, draw conclusions, provide recommendations and present findings clearly
• Ability to inspire and guide teams in achieving sustainability goals across diverse geographic locations
• Ability to travel 20%

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in a relevant field
• Certification(s) from a recognized sustainability body or auditing organization
• Experience working in textile manufacturing facility
