Parts Coordinator (JLTV)

The Parts Coordinator (PC) will manage the Test Support Systems Support Package (SSP), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), and Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) for JLTV Family of Vehicles (FoV) testing. This role involves recording, logging, tagging, and shipping damaged parts, maintaining a comprehensive damaged parts logbook, and ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of all GFE and CFE. The PC will also handle the delivery and retrieval of parts to and from maintenance shops and manage outgoing shipments.

• Record and Track Damaged Parts: Tag and log all damaged parts with return/damaged part tags and create shipping logs for each shipment.
  
• Shipping Management: Maintain a comprehensive logbook for all shipped and stored parts, including shipping dates, couriers, and tracking numbers.
  
• Coordination & Communication: Correspond with internal and external stakeholders to follow up on shipments and resolve any lost or damaged parts promptly.
  
• GFE/CFE Management: Maintain accurate records for all hand-receipted GFE and CFE related to JLTV FoV and Companion Trailers.
  
• Parts Delivery: Use an AM General-supplied vehicle to deliver parts to maintenance shops, collect used/damaged items, and catalog them for shipment.
  
• Logistics Support: Make frequent trips to shipping/postal companies to expedite shipments as directed.
  
• Packaging & Shipping: Ensure outgoing new and damaged items are properly packaged and shipped to designated locations.
  

• Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects).
  
• Licensing: Valid driver's license required.
  
• Clearance: Active or interim Secret Clearance and ability to obtain/maintain a CAC.
  
• Experience: Prior experience in logistics or parts coordination is preferred, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
  

• Travel: This position requires frequent travel to shipping/postal companies.
  
• Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple shipments and parts management tasks efficiently.
