Position Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for programming, setting up and maintaining the set-ups for 5 Axis and vertical machining centers in the Milling department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produces programs for machines to run high volume and R&D orders
• Set-up and operation of machines when applicable
• Reads and interprets hard copies and/or computerized drawings and specifications for parts.
• Computes dimensions and tolerances. Uses geometric tolerances and interprets and applies those requirements to tooling and production parts.
• Inspects completed components using CMM.
• Troubleshoots quality problems by effectively utilizing process control and corrective actions.

Must Have:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 7+ years of set-up and machining experience with vertical and 5-axis machines.
• 10+ years of programming experience in milling manufacturing
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

Good to have:

• Tech School Desired
• CMM programming a plus

Competitive market salary from $40-50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
