Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities for this Position An Advanced Engineering Support Specialist will interact with Sailors and assess equipment failures on the Strategic Weapons Systems and Attack Weapon System. Provide sound recommendations to our Sailors regarding troubleshooting efforts. Assist with ground troubleshooting. Assist with Manual Troubleshooting Plans. Demonstrate the ability to accurately read and interpret drawings and interconnecting diagrams. Clearly communicate with home office Fleet Support Group. Assist with the Portable Computing Device Program. Conduct Reactive Maintenance Period inspections on the Strategic Weapons System. Compile data and generate reports. Conduct Strategic Weapons System and Attack Weapon System Modernizations. Put your engineering talent to the ultimate test.
