Who We Are ...

SourceAmerica is searching for a Senior Programs Administrator to join its team. This position establishes, evaluates, and maximizes collaborations with agencies administering programs impacting the employment of people with disabilities. Such programs lead to an increased range of referral partners and sources for SourceAmerica stakeholders: the nationwide network of SourceAmerica Nonprofit Agencies (NPAs), people with disabilities, and the federal government through the AbilityOne Program.

Programs may derive from the private sector, nonprofit and or the federal government. These may include new commercial or for-profit organizations, and/or our established partnerships, The Wounded Warrior Project, Security Administration Ticket to Work, the United States Department of Education Pre-Employment Transition Services, United States Department of Labor Veteran Employment and Training Services, and others.
The Senior Programs Administrator creates connections/access to job seekers with disabilities to meet the hiring needs of SourceAmerica's nationwide network.

Your Impact ...

As a Senior Programs Administrator, your work functions will include but are not limited to the following. A full position description will be given to candidates at the time of the interview.



  • Identify, establish, and maximize collaborations with federal agencies, commercial organizations, and/or non-profit agencies to create programs that increase access to job seekers with disabilities.
  • Develop and nurture rapport, manage relationship and expectations with program partners.
  • Identify potential challenges, risks or success blockers that could impact program viability.
  • Track and assess program outputs, create reports for review by multiple stakeholders.
  • Build and deliver presentations that showcase the purpose of the program at live and virtual.
  • Other responsibilities will be assigned as organizational needs arise.


Salary Range

The salary for this position falls in a range between $100,000 - $110,000 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills ...



  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution instead of applicable skills training. SourceAmerica recognizes 1.5 years of experience = 1 year of college, should the candidate not meet the educational requirement.
  • 7+ years relevant work experience in program building and management, nurturing and leading nationwide initiatives.
  • Identifying and developing national programs with external partners.
  • Ability to network and develop sound working relationships.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Experience creating and giving meaningful presentations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills



  • 10+ years relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of public administration and federal funding streams.
  • Experience working in human services.
  • Working understanding of the AbilityOne.
  • Direct experience collaborating with people with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of national workforce development issues impacting the employment of people with
  • Knowledge of government programs impacting the employment of people with
  • Knowledge and direct experience with other disadvantaged or underrepresented groups that intersect with the disability community.
  • Knowledge of Veterans and/or student transition services programs.
  • We use Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) as our primary business application system for much of our office processes- experience with D365 or using similar methods is preferred.


Work Environment

Our organization offers both a hybrid work model-where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek-as well as a fully remote work model, depending on the job requirements and one's proximity to one of our offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, or the Washington, DC-area.
