Shift Schedule Monday thru Friday 7:30AM - 3:30PM
Primary Responsibilities: Create a master database for all items in storage with pictures, identifying information, key characteristics and condition listed for each item, warranties associated. Monthly - ensuring the sale and disposition process stays organized, coordinating scrap runs for trash or unsellable items, keeping designate offsite storage organized. Bi-Weekly - visiting the warehouse(s) to check on recent activity or deliveries, preparing and new equipment documentation, updated SharePoint, follow-up on requests. Upon request - assisting end user with retrieval of items and storage requirements for new items, reviewing unused long storage items for disposal or return to site Report on furniture inventory, condition, age, usage, purchases, and retirement periodically or as requested. Assist with physical personnel moves Office furniture assembly and disassembly Ability to read AutoCAD generated prints for installation Install of office equipment such as shelving, whiteboard/markerboards, pictures, clocks, monitor mounts, etc. to different types of surfaces. Concrete, block, drywall, glass, etc. Office furniture re-keying Furniture modifications by means of drilling, screwing, cutting, sanding, etc. Loading and unloading of box truck Prep and cleanup of job site Provide 3rd party vendor support as needed Comply with all safety regulations and site procedures Maintain good housekeeping and safety of work areas Participate in ongoing technical, safety and operational process training programs Other assigned operational tasks QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE One or more years of experience with furniture installation (Steelcase, Herman Miller, etc.) preferred.
