On site, manufacturers rely on our expertise in providing full management of these gases, advanced molecules and equipment and in helping to continuously improve production processes.

Electronic Specialty Gases (ESG) is a focused product line within the larger Air Liquide Electronics (ALE) organization that specializes in providing a diverse portfolio of highly purified specialty gases to our customers. The ESG product line is poised for strong growth over the coming years as leading semiconductor companies are making multi-billion dollar investments to expand manufacturing capacity in the United States and globally. The Morrisville PA plant is expanding its chemical process engineering and technical team to ensure it is well poised for these growth opportunities.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Delivering gas cylinders that are stored at the local warehouse where the driver offices. Customers are 100% local (100 mile radius) and delivery schedule is 80% fixed week to week. Typical day will consist of 75% driving, 25% administrative. Driver will work with the Depot Manager to set up working hours but can expect a normal 1st shift schedule (7AM-4PM). All of our customers expect delivery during normal business hours. Emergency weekend deliveries may be required but are infrequent. Safety is a top priority and it is critical to demonstrate good safety practices that show a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery and pickup of chemicals / compressed gases

  • Understand and follow proper inventory procedures

  • Update daily the inventory levels for proper reporting

  • Physically loading and unloading of materials

  • Safe and professional operation of all assigned equipment

  • Demonstrate ability to work with Sales associates with orders and customer information

  • Picking & staging materials per first expiration first out rules (FEFO)

  • Maintain Stocking levels to ensure customers expectations are met

  • Placing stock orders to replenish inventory using internal and external suppliers

  • Inventory of all cylinders to ensure 100% accuracy on recommended frequencies

  • Strive for 100% On time delivery of cylinders to customers

  • Understand and follow proper spills / emergency cleanup procedures

  • Proper labeling of all materials

  • Operation of powered industrial equipment

  • Direct interface with internal & external customers

  • Support waste reduction & recycling programs

  • Additional backup support for distribution department

  • Maintain and participate in site 5S program, including depot housekeeping and cleaning activities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 3+ years commercial driving experience

  • 1+ years chemical compressed gas field preferred

  • Minimum 25 years of age

  • Must possess a valid Class 1 commercial drivers license with hazmat endorsements

  • Drivers license must be for state of domicile, with a clean driving record

  • Know and understand the rules set by the DOT as stated in the CFR 49 for the safe transport of hazardous materials

  • Good general knowledge of computers

  • Must have initiative and be self-motivated

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to work in a team environment, be organized and multitasking

  • Dedicated to quality and accuracy

  • Emergency Response Team member

The hourly rate range for this position in Oregon is $30.00 to $35.00
