Manager, Audit – (employer: Santander Holdings USA, Inc.; job location: Dallas, TX) – Lead execution of individual audit reviews and other internal audit activities as required. Ensure audits are performed timely, meet client relation standards, and abide by quality standards. Keep abreast of industry standards and regulations as applicable, and incorporate this knowledge into audit procedures covered by the audit team. Oversee and review the work of junior auditors, including testing, documentation, reports, recommendations, and post-audit reviews. Spearhead audit reviews providing the Board Audit Committee and Senior Management with independent assurance on the quality and effectiveness of the Model Risk Management framework with focus on the IFRS9 and Regulatory Capital financial frameworks and loan loss reserves. Apply expertise in SR 11/7, European Central Bank methodology, model risk concepts, and data analytics as applied to mass credit risk testing. Spearhead Pricing Audit of the implementation of the Bank’s pricing model. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (with concentration in Finance or Management), Management, or Finance, plus five years of progressive post-Bachelor’s experience in the offered position or an internal audit position at a bank or Master’s Degree in Business Administration (with concentration in Finance or Management), Management, or Finance, plus two years of experience in the offered position or an internal audit position at a bank. All of the required experience must have included overseeing internal audit reviews and activities for the Bank, including audit planning, field work and reviews, testing and work paper preparation, executing control design and operating effectiveness testing, and post-audit follow-up; examining business records and other financial information and identifying issues, assessing risks, formulating findings, and presenting results to senior audit managers; documenting audit testing and drafting audit report/conclusion document; appraising adequacy of corrective actions addressing audit recommendations; applying knowledge of US GAAP, EBA, ECB, IFRS, BIS, and BdE standards and regulations; performing credit risk audits using DCF calculations and knowledge of credit cycle and credit risks; performing model risk audits using knowledge of statistical model building, model risk management, and SR11-07 guidance; and performing data analytics including portfolio valuation and statistical model coding using SAS, Python, R and SQL. Must be willing to travel domestically up to 5% of the time to attend team meetings. #LI-DNI.
