Job DescriptionThe Transmission team is looking for individuals passionate about renewable energy with a keen interest in contributing to this industry and helping Apex accelerate the shift to clean energy. Our team is seeking a Grid Integration Summer Associate to provide electrical engineering and project coordination support in managing the portfolio of interconnection requests for the grid integration and operation of utility-scale renewable energy and storage projects across the US footprint. Reporting to the Senior Director of Transmission & Interconnection, and working closely with Interconnection Managers, this role will directly support the execution of Apex's renewable energy projects from a grid integration standpoint. The ideal candidate displays strong quantitative and project management skills and is motivated by working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Preference will be given to candidates that have a sound understanding of power system fundamentals along with some knowledge of electricity markets in the US. Responsibilities
