Manager Marketing


Job Summary

The Manager of Marketing executes key marketing programs and activities and leads the development of Marketing strategy. This role establishes strategic marketing plans and policies to achieve objectives for products and services and drive brand growth. This position develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support marketing and sales objectives of organization and drive communication internally and externally to educate audiences on the brand.


Essential Functions
Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Development of the overall marketing strategy and marketing goals to achieve business objectives
  • Develops strategies and tactics to get the word out about the Noridian brand and drive qualified traffic to the organization
  • Leads company efforts at Industry Trade Shows and Conferences
  • Develops product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with buying audiences across service(s)/product(s) offerings and customer segments
  • Assists in the development, management, and communication of the Noridian brand
  • Manages daily marketing operations and channel/product marketing activities
  • Conducts market research to identify customer and competitor offerings and promotional materials aligning with Noridian's strategy
  • Oversees and manages outsourced vendors/agency partner to support marketing operations, conducts market research, and executes on campaigns
  • Assists in the development of a marketing plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics
  • Develops a clear, comprehensive, and easy to use brand and message guide for the organization and ensures consistent brand use across the organization
  • Aligns the company around the brand's direction, choices and tactics
  • Defines, maps, and documents key marketing operational processes
  • Maintains and conducts analysis of development projects and its effect on yearly targets
  • Works to simplify and optimize information sharing across teams, with consistency of metrics and focus on critical knowledge areas
  • Maintains and understands industry trends to make appropriate recommendations regarding brand and communication strategy surrounding them
  • Devises and leads marketing campaigns across channels that engage, educate, and motivate customers

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business Administration, Analytics, or a combination of education and equivalent experience as determined by HR
  • 8 years overall business experience, including 5 years in leadership roles in marketing, and 2 years of specialized agency experience in advertising.
  • Excellent understanding of various routes to market and marketing activities required to support each route to market and customer segment.
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation with unique buying needs across multiple audience groups
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively with sales
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices


Preferred Qualifications
Above requirements and the following:

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Analytics, or related field as determined by HR.
  • 10+ years' experience in a marketing or communications leader OR relevant role supporting strategic decisions as determined by HR.

Below is the salary range for potential new hires.

Salary Range: $79,267.71 - $130,374.83

Other Compensation: Self-Managed PTO (if applicable), Incentive Plan

Lifestyle Benefit: $50/month
