Position Overview: We are seeking a Technical Product Support Specialist to deliver technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to our internal and external customers in order to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction in accordance with Avidity Science product specifications and quality standards.

Key Job Responsibilities:



  • Provide technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to our field service team

  • Proactively manage, communicate, and solve customer issues/SFDC cases relating to active/field equipment.



  • When necessary, escalate complex or non-resolved customer issues to Technical Support Specialist II or Service Manager



  • Using actual equipment/products, be capable of demonstrating operation and/or basic troubleshooting techniques.



  • Support business and customer service goals and objectives.



  • When not directly supporting customers, provide the business with tangible outcomes through value added activities.



  • Assist with any required equipment setup or calibrations.



  • Assist with technical bulletin creation.




Qualifications & Requirements:

Associate's degree in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent experience and preferably a minimum of three years' experience in troubleshooting and supporting electrical and electro-mechanical systems similar to what Avidity Science markets and sells.

This position is 100% on-site for 9-12 months, then will shift to a hybrid schedule which requires 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. This position will also require domestic travel 1-3 times per year to a customer site for training, totaling about 1-2 weeks per year.
