Summer Internship Status: Non-Exempt (hourly) Department: Electrolyzer R&D, Concord, MA Position Summary Intern for proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer membrane electrode assembly (MEA) research and development Project Summary The goal of the project is to develop MEAs to improve PEM electrolyzer efficiency, durability and safety. This work will include: 1) development of novel MEA architecture for next generation dry build stack; 2) validate different MEA component, such as membrane, ionomer and catalyst in an electrolyzer stack; 3) support the whole MEA development team. 4) develop next-gen proton exchange membrane with low hydrogen crossover This project will help to achieve our 2024 dry build performance and durability goals.
