Job Summary

As a Sous Chef, you will play a critical role in delivering a top-notch culinary experience at Compass Group USA. This position is crafted for a high-reaching individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to our outstanding team. You will have the opportunity to implement innovative culinary programs, ensuring detailed execution and customer happiness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and participate in the preparation and cooking of various food items.
  • Assist with planning and designing menus.
  • Successfully execute new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
  • Lead cost controls and expenditures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of related culinary experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Confirmed experience in diverse food service operations.
  • Knowledge of food trends, quality, sanitation, and food cost controls.
  • Ability to set up and distribute production sheets.
  • Strong supervisory, training, and leadership skills.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel.
  • Associate's degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
