Supply Chain/Co-Packer Services Intern

Position Purpose:

Due to increased consumer demand and strategic company growth, Lindt is expanding production through Contract Packagers. To support this expansion, it is crucial that our Contract Packagers have clear access to and understanding of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that define our business relationships and operational expectations. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with various Lindt departments and external partners to create manuals and reference guides, enhancing the communication of expectations with our Contract Packagers.

What To Expect as a Lindtern:

Our twelve-week Lindternship program offers hands-on experience allowing undergraduate and graduate students to gain practical skills and contribute to projects that directly impact our business. During the summer, interns will be paired with a mentor, attend professional career development workshops/sessions and attend networking events to meet additional team members.

Develop a quick reference tool for Lindt's SOP's

• Leverage technology to scan a library of over 100 SOPs, allowing operators to easily search and find the specific SOP they need by typing keywords.
• Develop a tool that will enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensures quick access to critical information, ultimately improving overall productivity and operational accuracy
• Gain cross functional alignment on technology and approach

Operational dashboard automation

• Create templates that will be used for Contract Packagers to report KPI's periodically
• Assist in automating the dashboard output to reduce generation time, enabling streamlined decision-making and allowing more focus on identifying areas of opportunity
• Provide recommendations on how to visually enhance the dashboard to increase the impact of its message
