THE JOB: The Special Events Representative plays a crucial role in organizing and facilitating various gaming events, including slot and table tournaments, while also managing VIP ticketing to ensure a seamless experience for participants and guests. STARTING PAY: $15.45 per hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: Assist the Slot Marketing Department with the execution of slot tournaments Assist the Casino Special Events Department with the execution of table game tournaments and casino-wide events, including Super Bowl, New Year's Eve, VIP ticketed events, etc. Complete special projects as requested by management * THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Knowledge of guest service needs Knowledge of appropriate money handling practices and ability to process credit card transactions Ability to compute mathematical calculations when balancing revenue sources, i.e., cash, credit card, check, etc. Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms Ability to communicate effectively, concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentiality Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts PERKS & BENEFITS: Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more.
