THE JOB:

Join the team behind the world-famous Bellagio Fountains! As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing the equipment that powers this iconic attraction. STARTING RATE:$37.57 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Dive operations: Perform diving activities to inspect, maintain, and repair underwater components of mechanical and auxiliary systems.

  • Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems: Maintain and repair boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators, and other machinery powered by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, or water to ensure seamless operations.

  • Electronic and compressor maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on electronic systems, compressors, and associated equipment.

  • Equipment maintenance: Ensure proper functionality and upkeep of all mechanical equipment, including systems related to power generation and energy distribution.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in auxiliary systems to maintain operational safety and efficiency.

  • Daily inspections and repairs: Walk assigned routes daily to inspect systems and maintenance areas, addressing any necessary repairs promptly.

  • Work order completion: Efficiently complete and document all assigned work orders to maintain accurate maintenance records.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Age: Must be 21 years or older.

  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational experience.

  • Availability: Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as required.

  • Diver Certification: Diver certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

  • Electrical Experience: Knowledge of and experience with electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment, is preferred.

  • Physical Demands: Must be capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting throughout the shift. Additionally, must be able to lift, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. as required.
