We are seeking an experienced Sr. Information Assurance Engineer to support cybersecurity and application management tasks. The role involves a combination of project management, technical guidance, and hands-on support to ensure robust information security and compliance with federal regulations and standards.



Job Description

    Lead and manage cybersecurity and application management tasks, specifically related to Information Assurance and security assessments.
  • Provide expert support in vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, penetration testing, and auditing within on-premises, DoD, and commercial cloud environments.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documentation, including Security Certification, Security Accreditation, and Continuous Monitoring phases.
  • Manage and support A&A tasks, including POA&M (Plan of Actions and Milestones), Continuous Monitoring, software application certification, and license management.
  • Offer technical guidance and customer assistance in improving information security, IT infrastructure, and continuous monitoring strategies.
  • Stay current on federal information security policies, standards, and regulations, ensuring compliance with the latest security protocols.
  • Assist in the development, compilation, and submission of security documentation and maintain project management oversight throughout the A&A process.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for managing cybersecurity projects and collaborating with teams.
  • Proficient in the execution and management of A&A documentation and related tasks.


Minimum Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in Information Security, with at least 4 years focused on Information Assurance.
  • Expertise in information systems security auditing, vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, and penetration testing.
  • Experience working in both on-premises and cloud environments (DoD and commercial).
  • Familiarity with federal information security and assurance policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Ability to gather, organize, and analyze technical information related to information security policies, training, awareness, and infrastructure.
  • Strong ability to manage and support A&A processes, including continuous monitoring and software application security certification.
  • Required Certifications: IAM Level II Certification.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance (S).
