The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for an Associate Director of Graduate Admissions, Recruiting & Operations. This position serves as a critical member of the McIntire Graduate Marketing & Admissions (GMA) team, reporting directly to the Director of Graduate Recruiting & Admissions for the Pre-Experience programs. The Associate Director plays an active role in the recruitment, evaluation, and yield of candidates for these programs, ensuring alignment with the team's collective goals. The Associate Director contributes to achieving the unit's graduate enrollment objectives by collaborating with GMA colleagues to design and execute a comprehensive student recruitment plan. This includes, but is not limited to, the effective processing of prospect and applicant data, implementing best practices for data and technology, performing database administrator duties, and upholding exceptional standards for customer service. The Associate Director serves as the primary lead for the configuration and customization of the CRM system (Slate) to maximize its full potential and manages the day-to-day system operations and other associated admissions business processes that take place within the CRM. The role requires a strong emphasis on teamwork, as the Associate Director works closely with colleagues to align individual efforts with the broader goals of the team and organization. In addition to recruitment and admissions responsibilities, the Associate Director assists senior staff in developing innovative solutions, anticipating challenges, and executing long-term or complex assignments in the CRM system (Slate) with minimal supervision. The position also serves as a key resource for the team, providing training, guidance, and support to colleagues on processes, policies, and resolving non-routine issues related to Slate. By fostering collaboration and contributing to shared success, the Associate Director plays a vital role in driving the team's overall mission forward. Recruitment- Serves as a knowledgeable representative for Pre-Experience Programs, promoting McIntire degree offerings and engaging with prospective candidates through recruitment events Evaluation- Maintains expertise in admissions processes, objectively assesses application materials, conducts evaluative interviews, and provides recommendations to the Admissions Committee. Yield- Supports yield activities for Pre-Experience Programs through events and engagement, involving students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Minimum Qualifications:

Anticipated Hiring Range: $70,00 - $80,000 This position is based in Charlottesville and requires some weekend and evening work as well as the ability to travel throughout the U.S. The position is eligible for participation in UVA Flex Work as outlined in the University Workplace Flexibility Policy.
