JOB TITLE: Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant (IR PA) WORK SCHEDULE: Days, Weekends required, Fulltime GENERAL SUMMARY: The Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant (IR PA) works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive care to patients receiving care in the Interventional Radiology department. He or she works with a multitude of specialists and providers on behalf of Interventional Radiology, serving as the clinical resource for other health care professionals, patients, and families. The IR PA obtains appropriate histories, performs physical examinations, orders diagnostic testing, develops care and treatment plans, and performs procedures in the Imaging department. Other activities are in support of patient/family education, staff education, unit activities, and psychosocial care of patients and families. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Questions: Email Maria Goode, mgoode4@jh.edu Salary Range: Minimum 57.99 per hour - Maximum 89.88 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
