Position Summary

Trideum Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engineering Technician I with a foundational understanding of weapon systems. In this role, you will contribute to the successful execution of test operations. This role is ideal for a candidate who excels in documentation, analysis, and team-oriented environments, and who is committed to supporting high-quality testing processes.

The responsibilities include reviewing test documentation to ensure that test plans and procedures align with objectives, criteria, and applicable military standards. Comprehensive Test Incident Reports (TIRs) are prepared to detail mission timelines, deviations, equipment failures, and preventive and corrective maintenance actions. The role also involves supporting Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis by collaborating with test agencies and adhering to Failure, Scoring, and Definition Criteria (FSDC) for the system under evaluation. Monitoring test events is essential to confirm adherence to approved test plans and to address deviations as needed. Accurate maintenance of logs, including recording equipment failures, data collection challenges, and procedural deviations in both digital and written formats, is a key responsibility. Additionally, the role contributes to scoring conferences by providing insightful assessments that support evaluation processes. Team collaboration is vital, offering clear instruction and guidance to team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and operational goals are met.

Work Environment

This job operates in an outdoors/field environment. The candidate must also be comfortable/capable of working within close proximity to ammunition/explosives and tactical military equipment that produce low and high frequency noise when in operation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; climb aboard equipment; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl (into tight or narrow spaces); talk or hear; pull cables/rope; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

What You'll Do: Your day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to:



  • Maintain records/logs/data
  • Review documents
  • Provide input to test planning, execution, and reporting activities
  • Identify deviations from expected outcomes
  • Note equipment malfunctions
  • Capable of effectively interfacing with Government, Military and Contractor personnel in a collaborative work environment facilitating goal achievement.
  • Other duties, as assigned


Requirements and Qualifications



  • High School Diploma and 1 year of relevant experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance as a condition of employment
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficiency with computer
  • Comfortable with working as a member of a team and communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Possess the ability to complete and deliver required work, with minimal supervision in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of weapons systems logistics
