Position Summary

As our Transport Customs and Logistics Coordinator your mission is to ensure the operational efficiency of the TC&L department. You will manage the daily performance of the TC&L department. You will liaise with the Team and the broader OPS organization to resolve any issue impeding the nominal flow and will drumbeat the activity.

Responsibilities

Planning and Coordination:



  • Develop and implement TC&L plans that ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • In line with the daily and weekly activities (Inbound shipments, FAL production), you communicate priorities to the Team.



Compliance and Documentation:



  • Ensure all transportation activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and maintain necessary documentation, including shipping records, bills of lading.



Problem Resolution:



  • Address and resolve any issues or disruptions in the process.
  • Drive a culture of data-based actions; use existing data/develop tools to create actionable information to drive improvement.



Cost Management:



  • Identify opportunities to reduce transportation and logistics costs without compromising service quality.
  • Review and validate provider invoices.
  • Monitor and report on expenses and budget adherence.
  • Implement cost-saving measures.



Technology Utilization and Sustainability:



  • Use logistics and transportation management software to track shipments and optimize logistics operations.
  • Implement environmentally friendly logistics practices to minimize the carbon footprint of transportation activities.



Performance Monitoring:



  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the TC&L operations.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement.



Qualifications:

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration is required.



Experience:



  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain coordination is required.
  • Experience with a production assembly environment.
  • Experience in planning and resources management.
  • Experience in managing successful customer satisfaction.



Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:



  • Fluent in written and spoken English is required, Spanish and French a plus.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a transverse and multi-cultural environment.
  • Leadership skills, and capability to work in close cooperation with other teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and technical.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively through notes and emails.
  • Able to capture concise procedures in a written document.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and management.
  • High level of attention to detail and utilize scientific thought and critical thinking.
  • Proven experience of managing deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to influence direct reports and peers to drive change.
  • Strong networking and relations building skills.
  • Analysis and decision-making capabilities in multidisciplinary and complex context.
  • Capable to work autonomously and proactively with responsibility and integrity.
  • Capable to work in several projects of different complexity managing the own and team's workload.
  • Capable to work in an organized and ordered manner complying with the Company AIT, EHS, and Quality standards.
  • Quality-oriented, improvement and innovative mind-set, team spirit and good communication skills.



Technical Systems Proficiency:



  • Working knowledge of SAP is required.



Travel Required:



  • Up to 15% travel required



Eligibility:



  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the U.S. export control regulations (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder, Political Asylee, or Refugee).



Physical Requirements:



  • Carrying: able to carry documents and/or electronic equipment up to 20lbs/9kg.
  • Lifting: able to lift documents and/or electronic equipment up to 20lbs/9kg.
  • Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas.
  • Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at computer and in meetings.
  • Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.
  • Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice.
  • Walking: able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
