We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Software Support Specialist to join our IT team. This role involves managing, analyzing, and supporting ticketing systems, with a primary focus on the Lufthansa Flight System (LSY). The ideal candidate will ensure seamless coordination between IT, business users, and external vendors to resolve system issues and improve operational efficiency. Candidates with prior experience in the Lufthansa Flight System are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

System Management:



  • Track and manage tickets submitted with the Lufthansa Flight System (LSY).
  • Elevate high-priority tickets to Product Development Managers (PDMs) as required.


Analysis & Troubleshooting:



  • Investigate reported issues to determine root causes.
  • Review issue descriptions and supplement with relevant information to expedite resolution.


Coordination:



  • Serve as the liaison between business users, LSY support teams, and internal IT.
  • Follow up on outstanding issues with LSY, ATSG IT, and business users to ensure timely resolution.


Knowledge Management:



  • Maintain documentation of ticketing workflows and solutions.
  • Provide training and support to business users on LSY functionality and updates.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in tracking and resolving software issues.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Proven experience with airline systems, preferably the Lufthansa Flight System (LSY).


  • Familiarity with ticket management systems.
  • Experience in liaising with vendors and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to document and improve workflows for system processes.
