Job Description

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Missouri, School of Medicine, is seeking a research faculty member with a doctorate in veterinary medicine (DVM) or equivalent, and evaluated on extensive experience and credentials related to veterinary and or translational orthopaedic surgery (preferably board certification in veterinary surgery or veterinary sports medicine and rehabilitation) to join its thriving academic center at the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute (MOI) and Thompson Laboratory for Regenerative Orthopaedics (TLRO). Our reputation for evidence-based patient care, education and research has made us one of the Nation's top orthopaedic programs.

The MOI opened in 2010 as the largest freestanding and most comprehensive Orthopaedic center in the region and recently completed our expansion.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate in veterinary medicine (DVM) or equivalent

Candidates will be evaluated on:

Extensive experience and credentials related to veterinary and or translational orthopaedic surgery. Board certification in veterinary surgery or veterinary sports medicine and rehabilitation.
