Primary Purpose: Administers SDG&E tariffed and fixed-contract programs for the procurement of long-term power supplies and provides key inputs to tariff program design and filings required to secure regulatory approval. On select procurement programs, leads the design and conduct of requests for offers and other competitive solicitation activities. Actively participates as assigned in the design, negotiation, and execution of complex, multi-million dollar commercial transactions for long-term supplies of electric energy and capacity on behalf of SDG&E retail customers. Ensures commercial contracts are in compliance with company policies and regulatory decisions and develops CPUC Advice Letters and Applications to secure approval of negotiated contracts. Serves as lead liaison between the Origination and Settlements function to ensure commercial contracts are designed for effective SDG&E management throughout the life of the contract. Interfaces with CPUC staff, ratepayer representatives and other stakeholders as SGD&E's contracting representative.

Starting salaries may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, and education. SDG&E offers a competitive total rewards package that goes beyond base salary. This position is eligible for an annual performance-based incentive (bonus) as well as other merit-based recognition.
