ABOUT THE JOB The Acquisitions Accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing valuation analyses and making recommendations on all potential acquisitions. This position is also responsible for creating acquisition summaries for Helena's leadership team and board, preparing various reports for parent company and our external auditors, and preparing related acquisition disclosures for Helena's annual report. The Acquisitions Accountant is also responsible for lease accounting. The responsibilities include supervising the Leasing Coordinator, maintaining leases in the lease accounting software, preparing month end reconciliations, preparing various reports for parent company and our external auditors, and preparing any additional ad hoc reporting requested. This position is also responsible for the related lease disclosures for Helena's annual report. The Acquisitions Accountant also maintains intangible assets. The responsibilities include adding new intangible assets, preparing month end reconciliations, preparing various reports for parent company and our external auditors, and preparing any additional ad hoc reporting requested. Successful completion of a drug screen and background check is required for all positions at Helena. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ASPECTS OF THE JOB The work environment for this position is that of a typical office environment where the noise level is mostly quiet.
