Job Summary
The student in this position will serve as a communications and multimedia assistant for the Harrison College of Pharmacy Office of Communications and Marketing. Responsibilities include the creation and development of content for a variety of media platforms including newsletters, media monitors, social media and the web, and other communication-related projects as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Assist with content for social media accounts.
  • Generate a variety of content over print, digital, and electronic platforms.
  • Assist with various marketing and communications projects, contributing to the promotion of HCOP's goals.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing and communication plans.
  • Assist in the creation of digital content, including graphics, videos, and other media for HCOP's digital platforms.
  • Take photographs and video for our website, print materials, and social media outlets.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be an enrolled student at Auburn University
  • Must be able to work 10-15 hours per week
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Must be able to produce content within given deadlines
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite of software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Experience with video editing software

Pay Rate $12.00 - $15.00/hour
