St. Ann's Community is currently looking for a Dining Room Supervisor for our Independent Living facility Chapel Oaks, located on the Irondequoit Campus. The Dining Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the tray line, dish room and utility operation and staff.

Job Description:



  • Coordination of meal service to residents, while ensuring the safety and sanitation of the department
  • Follows and ensures all organizational policies and procedures
  • Prepares reports, proposals and other documents necessary in a timely manner
  • Ensures that quality improvement monitors are adhered to within department
  • Supervises the resident meal service operation in St. Ann's Home and Adult Day Services
  • Assists with in - service training and staff development and market visibility
  • Assists Dining Services Manager in ensuring the hiring and retention of staff
  • Executes performance appraisals for current staff members


Candidate Requirements:



  • Associates Degree in Nutrition or Foodservice Management with 5 (five) - 7 (seven) years' experience of continuous or recent foodservice experience or equivalent combination of education or experience
