Associate Scientist
needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific's client located in Cambridge, MA.

This position is for a major pharmaceutical company
and requires hands on experience with analytical HPLC or plate-based assay.

Shift:
Monday - Friday, 1st shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Associate Scientist in In-Process Analytics is expected to execute scientific studies in support of technical programs as they progress from early development into Phase I/II and Phase III. The appointee will work in the In-process Analytics (IPA) team, within the Drug Substance - Technical R&D unit.
• Executing routine characterization assays of Drug Substance including analytical HPLC and plate-based assays.

Qualifications:

• Scientific degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related field
• Previous Industry or laboratory experience
• Hands on Experience with analytical HPLC or plate-based assays
• Fluent Spoken/Written English.
• Experience with industry standard high throughput screening and automation technologies.
• Understanding of polysaccharide chemistry
• Understanding of protein biochemistry
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and communicate effectively
