The Title V Project Director will support Herzing University's Hispanic student population, meeting students where they are on-campus or online. The Project Director will provide services to facilitate a smooth transition into the classroom for Hispanic students and academic success through graduation. The Project Director will advocate for these students, ensuring their classroom needs are met, connecting them with institutional and community resources, and fostering a positive educational environment.

This is a grant-funded temporary position, funding is expected through September 30, 2029. Shifts in the grant funding may impact employment status.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:



  • Master's degree in education, Higher Education Administration, or a related field; Doctorate preferred.
  • Experience in grant management, particularly federal grants.
  • Blingual (Spanish Speaking) with experience working with Hispanic and low-income students, either through lived experiences or professional roles, fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Hispanic and low-income students, either through lived experiences or professional roles, fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
  • Strong understanding of issues related to student retention and success in higher education.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Program Leadership:


    • Develop and implement program strategies aligned with Title V objectives.
    • Monitor program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Supervise grant staff including peer mentors, tutors and other grant related roles.


  • Grant Management:


    • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and grant guidelines.
    • Prepare and submit timely reports to the Department of Education and other stakeholders.
    • Manage budget and financial reporting for the grant.


  • Collaboration:


    • Work collaboratively with all departments, including academic departments, student services, and administrative offices.
    • Foster partnerships with community organizations and other institutions to enhance program reach and effectiveness.


  • Data Analysis and Reporting:


    • Collect and analyze data to assess program outcomes and impact on student success.
    • Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.


  • Training and Professional Development:


    • Coordinate professional development opportunities for faculty and staff to support grant initiatives.
    • Organize workshops and training sessions for students and staff on relevant topics.


  • Outreach and Communication:


    • Develop communication strategies to promote Title V initiatives and engage the campus community.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Title V-related inquiries.
