Job Description

IPG is looking for a dynamic and experienced Aftermarket Service Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing our aftermarket service products to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to identify market needs, define product and service strategies, and drive the execution of service initiatives.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Key Responsibilities:



  • Own the revenue forecast and execution required to achieve IPG's Service sales goals.
  • Develop and manage the IPG aftermarket service product portfolio. The portfolio includes all Laser source products, beam delivery, and cartesian and automated systems. It also includes IPG's LightWELD handheld laser product line.
  • Define service strategies for each product group, and product service roadmaps.
  • Conduct market and customer research to identify customer needs and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful service launches.
  • Monitor service performance and implement improvements.
  • Support development of training to sales and service teams as needed.
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
  • Maintain metrics appropriate to the Service business and customer experience improvement

Requirements

Education and Experience:



  • 4 year technical or business degree
  • 5+ years' experience in Service leadership for a high technology manufacturer of capital equipment


Travel



  • Approximately 25% travel anticipated
