Summary

Develops and delivers strategic corporate wellness services internally for LVHN and/or externally for corporate business clients. Plans and implements corporate wellness programs with a goal to improve the health and wellness of a given population. Designs and implements program assessments, evaluates program outcomes, and provides reporting and strategic wellness consultation to clients.

Job Duties

  • Assesses employer needs and communicates outcomes to clients to set realistic goals and opportunities for client wellness programs and population health improvement.
  • Plans, implements, evaluates, and provides reporting on all wellness programs for internal and external clients.
  • Provides strategic wellness consultation to internal and external clients by providing education and making recommendations for program enhancements and opportunities to improve health.
  • Develops and delivers high quality programs, health education programs, and presentations to internal and external clients and stakeholders.
  • Assists and supports departmental programs, maintains department and NCQA protocols, and provides evaluations and outcome measurements.
  • Keeps current with corporate wellness knowledge and research; maintains professional standards.
  • Works with external vendors and stakeholders, Business Development, Marketing and other internal departments to implement wellness services for internal and external clients.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in public health, community health, or health education.
  • 2 years of experience working as a health educator or in corporate wellness.
  • Understands prevention strategies, evidence-based practices, health communications, and/or needs assessments.
  • Relates effectively and diplomatically with diverse audiences including providers, colleagues, stakeholders, and business clients; maintains productive relationships at all levels.
  • CHES-Cert Health Education Specialist NCHECI - State of Pennsylvania within 1 Year

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in public health.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English).

Physical Demands

Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
